Long time user and I have several instances where forms are generating PDFs. All has worked well in the past and generally less than 10 seconds for showing the merged results and/or email.
Today I was making an update and times are more like 1-3 minutes. I have not made any adjustments over time and was wondering if this is a know issue that others are having.
I have not changed API servers but will test.

Hello,

Can you let us know please:
- Which E2Pdf version is currently used?
- What is the size of the generated PDF document?
- Which API server is currently set?

the slowest PDF I'm looking at now is a 7 page contract with about 10 merged fields at 3.5 MB. That is an updated contract template and I suppose could be larger than it was in the past. that takes over 3 min.

We also have a business card generator and that makes a file that is only 45k that takes 30 seconds to 1 min.

it is e2pdf 1.23.14

currently I'm on api.e2pdf.com. I did change briefly to api2.e2pdf.com and the time was the same.

It's not okay and the E2Pdf 1.23.14 version must not impact the speed of PDF generation.

Can you please try to update the plugin to the RC version 1.23.16 and see if anything will be changed in performance: https://e2pdf.com/docs/install#rc-version.

If it still will be the same, can you please try to switch the API server to api3.e2pdf.com / api4.e2pdf.com and see if it helps?

I have updated the plugin to the RC and so far I have tried 1,2,3 and all are right at 3 minutes to make this PDF that I am trying to update.

Does the issue happen when you click "Preview" / "View Saved" inside the E2Pdf Template? If yes, can you please backup the E2Pdf Template: https://e2pdf.com/docs/templates/backup and send it to us to email [private] ?

Or if it's acceptable for you, you can submit access details to the WP Admin Dashboard here: [private] so we can log in and try to investigate the issue on your side directly.
