Hello,

I configured the template and had it working, I added a couple of additional HTML fields in the PDF, and now the PDF is not attaching, I have the proper shortcode in the email body, and it was working prior. Do you have any ideas where I can start to troubleshoot to see why it no longer attaches?

Shortcode: [e2pdf-attachment id="4"]

Hi,

1) Recheck please if "Template" is "Activated".

2) Recheck please if it's connected to correct form.

If it's "Activated" and connected to correct form: Try please export entry directly from admin dashboard via "E2Pdf" -> "Export". Will it show you any error with this action?

The template is activated and linked to the correct form. If I do an export of the form, it exports without an issue.

If it's acceptable for you, you can submit "Support Request" with access details here so we can investigate issue the fastest.

If not:

Did you install any other plugins before attachments stopped working?

Try to create new empty "E2Pdf Template" and use [e2pdf-attachment] shortcode inside "Email" body, will it generate "attachment"?

If not:

Does [e2pdf-download] shortcode inside "Email" body generate "download" link?

As an issue it can be permission problem. To check it: activate "Debug" mode via "E2Pdf" -> "Settings" -> "Turn on Debug mode". Go to "E2Pdf" -> "Debug" and check if all folders permissions are set to "Writable".

I am having this same issue. I have updated to the last release and it still continues. The download link works, everything is writable, it just doesn't attach to the email that formidable generates.

Please advise

I am using Formidable and having the same problem.

I don’t see in the documentation where the E2PDF shortcode for attaching a PDF should be? I assume it’s in the body of the email generated by Formidable. Is that accurate?

Hi,

Yes, you are correct. [e2pdf-attachment id="1"], where 1 is the ID if E2Pdf template. Shortcode must be inserted to Formidable Forms email body. E2Pdf template must be "Activated" and connected to that form.

P.S. We are closing this thread as issue from first post was resolved. So if you still has problem with email, create please new thread so we can support you there. We see also that you had problem with License Key, so be sure that on page "E2Pdf" - "License" you does not have any errors.
