hello,

sorry to take over this old post but the very feature I am looking for is mentioned in this discussion. Was the following quoted feature ever added?

"... confirm, do you need an option that will allow resizing just by "width" but keep dimension and if "the height" of the image is larger than the block - it must be truncated? If so, this feature is on our TODO list, but unfortunately, we do not yet have an ETA for when it will be released."

If it is available, it would be extremely helpful, if you can guide me on how to achieve this. Currently, dynamic images that are uploaded are getting squished into the box. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hello,

Unfortunately, not yet, the feature was not yet implemented. We will try to give that point more priority to speed up implementation.
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!

ok thank you I understand...

I am not sure but I think this might work for what I am trying to achieve but I am having trouble understanding how to implement this. It is the last part related to meta tags and defining the size of the image there. The link to the discussion is below:

Any guidance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,

We just released an update to the RC version that must support the requested functionality. You can follow the steps to update to the RC version here: https://e2pdf.com/docs/install#rc-version.

After the update, the "Fill Image" option must be available on the "Image" object. Please check the screenshot attached.

If you face any issues or the solution will not work for you, let us know please, so we can review the issue or provide you with steps to create a custom "size" (if preferable and still required).
We would really appreciate your feedback at WordPress.org!
