Hi,

I'm looking for the functionality to have user visitors download the pdf file from the website after filling in an form. So instead of having user register and me assigning a role to them to download a file, I would like to have visitors be able to do this. Is there a way to have this functionaliy?

Looking forward to your response.

Hi,

If you wish to generate PDF download link to PDF after filling the form it must not be any issues by using any compatible with E2Pdf Form. You can use for example Formidable Forms, Forminator, Gravity Forms.

All these forms can be filled by unregistered users and E2Pdf can generate PDF download link at "Success Message" / "Mail" or attach PDF file to email.

You can check some video example for Formidable Forms to understand the way of work, however the work with other forms almost the same:

Hi,

Thanks for response. However, this doesn't seem to be working. I can only download the file when i'm logged in. Whenever a user is not logged in, they can't download the file or see the pdf. It refers to a network issue.

Can you please share the link to generated PDF or link where we can fill out the form to see result?

It's failing due: net::ERR_HTTP2_PROTOCOL_ERROR 200

It looks like can be due the incorrectly modified headers or due modified output. Do you use any cache or minify html/css plugins? If so, can you try to deactivate it?

Glad to hear that issue resolved. It will be very helpful if you can share plugin name which caused the issue so we can check if we can add "exclusion" fix for it out of the box. Thank you.

P.S. If plugin has exclusions you can try to add exclusion to urls which starts from: https://yourwebsitedomain.com/?page=e2pdf-download to keep compression and E2Pdf work together.
